The Old Police House

• The Mendip Hills (0Km) - The hills was designated 'area of outstanding natural beauty' in 1972 and covers 198sq kms from Bleadon to Chewton Mendip and incorporates 3 beautiful gorges. The area is well known for its wildlife and geology.

• Wookey Hole Caves (9Km) - The caves are some of the largest in the uk, with spectacular chambers. Let the guides tell you about the myths and legends that surround the caves. See traditional paper being made. Play the old fashioned penny machines in the old paper mill.

Axbrige(9Km) - A  medieval town granted a Royal Charter in1202 when King John built his hunting lodge there. Whilst there is much evidence of rebuilding and re-facing of buildings in Axbridge in the 18th and 19th centuries, the heart of Axbridge has changed little and it retains a number of early listed buildings in the Square and lining the main streets.

• Wells (10Km) - The smallest city in England with streams running down the high street. The wonderful cathedral has unique architecture which includes a wooden mechanical clock. Sroll round the and enjoy the gardens at the Bishop's Palace
